Right on, Carlton,

Yes, the law in Oklahoma is clear. Everyone is legally bound to have auto insurance in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Unfortunately, it is not a perfect world, which makes your isnurance expereince imperfect too! Today’s economic twists find people scurrying to keep overhead down. Uninsured motorist insurance not only protects the policyholder from the uninsured auto operator but from the driver who has a policy with limits that do not cover damages.

Uninsured auto insurance is worth the investment. The premiums are reasonable, the coverage invaluable. It takes the unexpected out of an auto accident. Uninsured auto insurance covers the policy owner, all declared household members, and your passengers when you are in an accident with a driver who has no insurance or whose limits fail to meet the damage limits. This coverage also protects the declared family members if they are a pedestrian. Uninsured motorist insurance will protect you and hopefully keep you out of the court system.

Typically, uninsured motorist insurance provides funds for medical expenses, lost wages and pain and suffering when those damages are not able to be paid by the other operator if he is at fault. This insurance is now required in many states. Let’s hope you never have to use your policy though!
