Who are the important parties involved in life insurance? I’m just curious because the life insurance agent here in North Cleveland seemed to involve a lot of people in my life insurance.

I don’t quite understand what your life insurance agent in North Cleveland, OK involves in his selling of life insurance policy but I do know who should only be involved.

For one, there’s you, the life insurance agent and the life insurance company (you should be clear what particular life insurance company the agent is affiliated to). That is the first stage of life insurance – selling and selecting the products and the three parties should be involved. Once you decided on the life insurance product that suits your budget and your needs, you need to involve other people in your application: You and your beneficiaries. Your life insurance beneficiaries should be the people that will get the death benefit when you die. Then after submitting the life insurance application, you are required to do medical examination. Then some personnel in your life insurance company may verify on some data in your life insurance application. At the end when the transaction is closed, the contract would only involve the most important parties: the policy holder/ insured (it’s you) and the insurer (the company). Secondary parties involved (the ones that have no “say” to the contract) are the beneficiaries. Beneficiaries are the ones whom you should give the death benefits.
